Building sustainable eating habits beats quick-fix diets, magic supplements or restrictive food plans. Nutrition is a set of skills, and it takes time and practice to get good at it. 

I offer evidence-based coaching with a generous helping of real world pragmatism. I work with you to understand where you are right now and envisage where you want to be.

Together, we make the changes to your diet, lifestyle and mindset to get you there, step by step, and give you the confidence to make them stick.

How we work together

Your story

Everyone has their own unique nutrition story. I want to hear about yours. 

We spend time upfront to clarify your goals, how you may have tried to achieve them before, and what success would look and feel like for you. 

We discuss the strengths you have, the skills you need and the actions that will help you to develop them. 

The approach

We work with a small number of actions that fit into your life, testing, adapting and adding as we go. Week by week, month by month, we develop sustainable, long term skills to manage your nutrition.

Diet, lifestyle and behaviour change have complex cause and effect relationships. We build your confidence in maintaining the balance you need, focusing not just on what you eat, but other factors as well, including sleep, stress, rest, support and movement.  

Weekly check-ins

My nutrition platform is tailored for you, shaped around your individual health and fitness priorities. Each week you submit a check-in and I record a feedback video, celebrating your wins and discussing your progress and challenges, which you can watch any time.

We go step by step, working on new behaviours in turn, building on honest, evidence-based nutrition knowledge, tracking, and supportive accountability.

One to ones

I am available for one to one meetings whenever you need. I recommend at least one session a month if your schedule allows. 

You can also message me any time for advice, or to chat through concerns.

A zero sum, all or nothing mindset is exhausting, all-absorbing and falls flat for most people.

Great nutrition should should fuel your life, not fill your mind. I coach self-managed habits that become second nature, sustaining you for the long run.

About me

I'm Angie Vanhegan, an evidence-based, qualified nutritionist with a specialist certification in menopause coaching. 

My path to nutrition practice is rooted in a long-standing desire to find alternatives to the restrictive diets and programmes that left me frustrated and had little impact on my struggles with IBS. 

 

A move to Mexico and a simple island life of kitesurfing and beach walks gave me the time to study and learn how my body works. And why it sometimes doesn't. 

 

My coaching is influenced by over 20 years working in global health as a digital project and programme manager. My approach is empathic, agile and focused on behaviour change.

I'm also an advocate for intuitive online platforms that make developing good nutrition habits easier.​​​​
